Athlete Profile–Based Programming with Tags

Enable coaches to build programs using tags (e.g. “Lower Body Strength – Block 1”) rather than fixed exercises, with the ability to customise exercises at the individual athlete level.

Example:

  • Program defines: Lower Body Strength (Block 1)

  • Athlete 1 receives: Squat + Deadlift

  • Athlete 2 receives: Belt Squat + Hip Thrust

Key Requirements:

  • Assign exercises to tags (e.g. Lower Body Strength, Upper Push, etc.)

  • Allow exercises to be automatically prescribed per athlete based on their athlete profile, while maintaining a shared program structure

  • Maintain shared program structure (sets, reps, progression) while varying exercises

  • Enable easy swapping/editing of exercises without rebuilding the full program

Outcome:

Coaches can scale programming efficiently while still individualising exercise selection based on athlete needs, injuries, or equipment availability.
