Disable auto-read when opening chats on computer

Would it be possible to disable the platform from reading the top message when opening the chats feature on a computer. I’m sure the mobile app waits for you to select a chat to “open”. This would prevent opening messages before practitioners are ready to reply and leaving the athlete on “read”.
