RPE question wording

Change wording of RPE survey.
Currently the wording around how much effort the athlete "gave" in the session. Athlete's are generally always going to try their hardest.

Maybe the wording should be tied to the session more. For example:
"How much effort did the session require?"

    Certainly open to change. Curious to hear the psychology behind this. To me "Rate of perceived exertion" is asking an athlete to subjectively rate how much effort they think they put out. If we reword to centre the question around perceived session difficulty, is this still "RPE"?. Additionally, this could "fracture" historic data for current clients, having athletes now reporting their answers in a different way.
